MyFitnessPal Review.

The first app that I am going to review is MyFitnessPal developed by MyFitnessPal LLC. This app is for all fitness freaks. Unlike other calorie counter apps like Calorie Counter pro and Livestrong which are all paid apps this app is free.  MyFitnessPal is a website along with mobile applications that helps you track the calories you have consumed and also manage your weight. This app has very friendly user interface and also loads fast as compared to other calorie counter apps

How does this app work?

MyFitnessPal is calorie counter and exercise tracker. All that you have to do is enter all food that you have consumed. MyFitnessPal has entries of more than 2000000 food items and the company claims that it has largest food database of any android based calorie counter. The best part of MyFitnessPal is that it supports variety of Indian dishes like Dosa,Poha, upma, vada pav etc to  paneer tikka, chicken tikka and also home made food like roti sabji and dal tadka too.

All that you have to do is to enter the food that you have eaten along with serving size and you get approx. Calories you have consumed. Also this app provides facility of bar code scanning. So if you are eating any processed food like corn flakes all that you have to do is scan the bar code, enter serving size and you get the calories consumed along with other nutrition details.

Weight Tracking:-
MyFitnessPal provides another feature of tracking your weight. So you can use this app if you want to lose or gain or maintain weight.  You have to enter the goal(desired weight you want and time period in which you want) type of lifestyle you have and this app will suggest you the range of exercises that you can do. Also you can add your friends in this app and track and share workouts.

Problems or Bugs:-

No such serious errors or bugs are visible in this app though this app does not fully support metric system (Miles/hour is used instead of km/hour and goals have to be set in lbs) , However company says that they soon will release an update of this app which supports metric system.

Ratings by other websites:-

Recomendation:-
